Who can join Manchester Parent Carer Forum?
Parents or carers of a child/young person aged 0-25 with any type of additional need or disability and living in Manchester are welcome to join. Joining our forum does not mean you have to commit lots of time. You can join and receive information, and then decide later if you want to get more involved at your own pace.
The forum represents the views of parents in the local area but does not advocate for individual families.
Dingley's Promise - Funded by Comic Relief
Manchester is one of the Local Authorities lucky enough to have been chosen to work on this project.
The project aim is to increase the number of young children with SEND accessing early years and childcare places as well as supporting the workforce to meet these needs.
This is a 5-year project and within these 5 years the aim is for Dingley’s Promise to work with up to 30 Local Authorities and deliver training to reach over 30,000 practitioners.
