Humanities
History, Geography and RE are taught in a practical way and skills and concepts are reinforced and generalised in different contexts. As far as is possible these concepts are taught through real life tangible experiences such as experiencing the weather, a significant event such as the Kings coronation or festivals and cultural days. Children also use artefacts, photographs and videos to make their learning meaningful. Children are encouraged to ask questions and to find new meanings in the world around them.
